SmartScreen warned me about the installer

The build is not code-signed yet, so Windows says the publisher is unrecognised. Click More info, then Run anyway — and check the published SHA-256 first, which is the check that actually proves you have our file.

A device is identified wrongly

Tell us what it actually is and what ScanWRX called it. Most of the identification rules in the product exist because a real device confused an earlier version and somebody said so.

My activation code will not work

Codes expire 15 minutes after the application generates one. Go back to Settings → Account → Activate in ScanWRX and ask for a new one.

Switch port mapping finds nothing

It needs a managed switch with SNMP enabled and a read-only credential you supply. ScanWRX will never guess one, so nothing happens until you enter it.

Before you send a scan

A scan export describes somebody’s network in detail, and that is usually your client’s information rather than yours to share. Do not attach one unless we ask. If we do need one we will tell you how to send it and what to redact first.
