Six things, each done properly

ScanWRX sweeps a subnet with seven discovery methods running at once and shows results as they arrive. On a real 80-device network over Wi-Fi it finishes in about eight seconds, from an ordinary user account.

Every identification carries a confidence label and the evidence behind it. A model number appears only when the device reported that model itself — everything else is capped below confirmed and labelled with what it was inferred from.

Compare today against a previous visit. A device that got a new DHCP lease is reported as one change: it moved. Scanners that key on the IP address report a removal and an addition, and you spend the afternoon chasing a device that never left.

CSV and JSON on the free tier. Pro adds a PDF report with your own company details on it, your notes attached to the devices they belong to, and the evidence behind every identification carried through into the document.

Given a read-only SNMP credential that you supply, ScanWRX reads the switch's own forwarding table and tells you which port a device is behind. It never guesses a community string, and it never reports an uplink as if it were the endpoint port.
